Social Events
- Excursions
- At least once a month there is a scheduled excursion. This excursion involves visiting a location off-campus and is always linked in some way to the academic program. It may be a half day or full day outing and may involve travelling to another town or city.
- Students must complete Student Declaration for Study Tour form before going on excursion.
- Extra costs
- Even though most excursions are free or paid for by Apple Study Group, when an excursion involves a visit to a location which costs more than usual, we ask students to make a contribution. This contribution varies according to the location.
- Sport
- Apple encourages students to play a variety of sports.
- Every week, students can participate in sporting activities at thier local Community Centres. Students can play basketball, badminton or table tennis. The sports equipment is provided by the Community Centre, and students pay a weekly fee to cover the cost of hiring these facilities.
- Apple can advise you on how to join clubs and teams.
Counselling
For everyday matters such as questions about your course, payments or the local community, the College provides a Student Contact Officer. If you wish to see the Student Contact Officer, just make an interview time with Reception by putting you name on the booking sheet or directly at the Director of Studies’ office. The Student Contact Officer is available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
For everyday questions relating to your class, speak to your teacher first. You can also make an appointment to see the Director of Studies.
For more serious matters, we provide a Student Counsellor who is a trained professional and who is available between 9am and 1pm by appointment. To make an appointment with the Student Counsellor, please make a booking at Reception.
- Education Counselling
Our Director of Studies can advise on universities, colleges, enrolments and options for further study. The Director of Studies can also arrange interviews and visits to universities and private colleges.
- Extending study
If you wish to extend your study at Apple Study Group, you will need to speak to the Student Contact Officer. Extending will usually depend on visa regulations, enrolment in other courses or institutes and class and course availability.
- Welfare Counselling
